Cook Job Opening in los angeles, California - Cook The Radisson Hotel Whittier is hiring a line cook with at least 2 years cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or similar environment. -Candidate must know how to comply consistently with the hotel's standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures. -Knowledge of safe food handling procedures and food temperature. -Must be able to understand, read and write basic English. -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -Assume 100 % responsibility for quality of products served. -Maintain a clean and sanitary work station including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, saute' burners, ovens, griddles and refrigeration equipment. -Follow proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. -Handle, store and rotate all products properly. -Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed. -Close kitchen properly and assist others in closing the kitchen. los angeles ca california
