Design Sales Consultant Job Opening in Keyport, New jersey - Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded design sales consultant to join our showroom sales team. In this role, you will work directly with our customers to design and sell tile, providing exceptional customer experiences in our stores, ultimately achieving Best Tile?s goal of creating ?Beautiful Rooms From Start To Finish?.
The ideal candidate is a motivated design and sales professional with a creative solutions-based approach, with a deep understanding of home décor and the residential and commercial construction industries. The candidate will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Interact with customers and develop creative tile solutions to meet and exceed the customer needs
Work collaboratively with the sales team to meet individual and branch sales and profitability goals
Participate in on-going sales presentations, grass roots marketing efforts and related brand building sales driving activities
Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships; inspire trust
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in interior design, architecture, marketing or equivalent is preferred
A proven sales track record with exposure to the tile and stone industry or new home construction is strongly preferred
Ability to inspire customers, take initiative and be an ?energy-giver?; Superior & presentation skills
Strong time-management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to self-motivate; Excellent organizational skills; Solid computer and systems skills
Ability to pass a post-offer employment screening, which includes drug/alcohol testing, physical capacity testing and a background check.
