Sales Representative Job Opening in Jersey City, New jersey - Part-time, Commission
We are looking for individuals with great personalities who like to talk but who are NOT HARD-SELL experts. We represent some of the best known-educational publishers and ship collections of their books to schools on consignment- with the librarians permission, of course. We need you to get them to agree to receive one of these collections but because they are not obligated to purchase, we want you to make them want to get a shipment, not be tricked into one. We pay all shipping costs outbound and inbound and and therefore don't tolerate slammed shipments. YOU ARE JUDGED AND REWARDED NOT FOR HOW MANY SHIPMENTS YOU GENERATE, BUT HOW MANY SALES. (A different department closes sales but you get the bulk of the commission!) EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED- your personality is the key. A love of books and learning also makes for certain success. Shifts are 5 hrs monday-friday, preferably in the morning but some afternoon shifts are available, all in a comfortable environment close to the Journal Square US or CALL : x salary + commissions
