Jr. Mortgage Compliance Analyst Job Opening in Fairfax, Virginia - Lender Service Provider, LLC ("LSP") is currently seeking a Junior Mortgage Compliance Analyst to join our team of professionals in Fairfax, VA .
About Us: Started in , Lender Service Provider, LLC offers an innovative mortgage services platform encompassing the areas of Secondary Marketing, Post Closing, Servicing, Compliance, Quality Control, Finance/Accounting, IT, Business Intelligence and Business Systems.
As of September, 2013, LSP has successfully on-boarded four prosperous mid-sized mortgage companies in the Washington DC area. LSP is always looking for top talent to join a fast-growing mortgage services company that is at the ?hub? of these 4 experienced and profitable mortgage lenders.
Job Responsibilities:
Using your problem solving and customer service skills, you will:
Serve as primary Compliance Liaison for supported companies through management of the Compliance email desk;
Review, clear and track Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) hits that are reported and arise in the supported companies Loan Origination System (LOS);
Track, document and retain all advertisements for supported companies that are reviewed and approved by the Compliance Department;
Manage the BAI Training and Learning system and assist with the development of new training needs;
Maintain tracking of Compliance requests for supported companies;
Communicate observations and recommendations to various levels of business and Compliance management;
Support business system testing functions;
Attend identified routine meetings;
Assist in running monthly reports as requested; and
Assist with other Compliance projects as requested.
Requirements:
To excel in this position and grow within the Company, you will have:
Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations governing residential mortgage lending;
Residential mortgage lending compliance or equivalent experience;
Experience with Ellie Mae's Encompass360 preferred;
Strong independent and team work skills;
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to effectively resolve complex issues;
Strong attention to detail and excellent research abilities;
Demonstrate excellent written/verbal communications skills with all levels of the organization;
Superior customer service skills and a sense of urgency;
Strong organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking abilities;
Critical thinking skills and respond to the time-sensitive needs of the client;
Initiative, drive, self-motivation, good judgement and commitment to assuming roles of increasing responsibility; and
Experience with MS Office and Excel
