Kitchell is seeking an experienced construction executive with an in-depth knowledge of healthcare design, construction within the AEC community overall. The Healthcare Market Executive will lead and manage all aspects of Kitchell's healthcare center of excellence including business development, operations, client relations, and personnel development and training. The ideal candidate will partner with Regional Executives in all markets to increase market share and grow the company's healthcare portfolio. This position will be based out of the corporate office located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and develop strategies for organizational structure to meet the growth objectives of the Company and the Healthcare practice.
Coach, develop and train all assigned personnel.
Develop and implement strategies to capture new work with prospective healthcare clients; and strengthen existing client relationships to secure repeat work
Strategize, plan, coordinate and lead in conjunction with regional leadership and internal departments for preparation and approvals of all proposals, presentations and GMP's for new work.
Review all competitive bids, GMP's and proposals for healthcare projects prior to submittal.
Monitor progress of all healthcare projects and provide executive oversight in conjunction with regional leadership.
Develop client account plans for all healthcare clients and prospective client targets.
Assist in the planning and monitoring of the quality control program.
Direct, review and approve preparation of monthly forecasts for annual volume and profit.
Direct and coordinate company representation in healthcare industry associations and participation on various committees and/or boards.
Confer with marketing to submit and participate in national healthcare rankings, project award submissions, media publishing opportunities and industry speaking engagements.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
In-depth knowledge of and experience in the healthcare design and construction industry
Ability to demonstrate the competencies of achieving results, teamwork, and influence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to initiate, build, and manage effective business relationships
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required (preferably in business administration, construction management or related field)
Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in the design and construction industry, specifically related to healthcare
Professional or industry certification such as CPC, DBIA strongly preferred
