Sr. Project Manager, MEP Job Opening in Mineola, New york - Indeed Hire has partnered with Winthrop University Hospital in hiring for a Senior Project Manager, MEP to join their team and be work out of their Mineola, NY location. This person should have their PE, experience with design and construction of healthcare facilities, and have knowledge of NY building codes.
Job Description:
Manage various projects with multiple phases from pre-bidding to close-out. Responsible for construction contract administration, budget control, scheduling, project close-out, end user satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. Manages all duties associated with the coordination of pre-construction tasks, contractual requirements, maintaining drawing sets, project specifications, and close-out documents.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor?s degree Engineering degree or related field required; Master's degree Engineering degree or related field preferred
Licensure: Professional Engineering (PE) License strongly preferred
Professional Certifications:
-10-Hour OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Certification preferred
Work Experience:
-6 - 8 years Practical Experience in construction, specifically with MEP experience required6 - 8 years Construction Management in Healthcare preferred
-6 - 8 years Construction Management in Healthcare
Skills:
-Excellent communication skills (both oral and written), detail orientation, organizational, analytical, project management, customer service, and multitasking required
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel required
-Ability to analyze MEP drawings for efficiency and accuracy required
-Knowledge of Unifier and P6 preferred
