Outside Sales Representative - PA, NJ, NY (Remote) Job Opening in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - This position is REMOTE
We are working with one of the leading distributors and processors of metals in the US, is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Philadelphia PA. This role is responsible for maintaining and growing business with assigned, established customers and for securing and growing business from new or not recently sold to customers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating all of the sales and customer service activities within the assigned accounts. This position involves a high volume of face-to-face customer contact and reports to the General Sales Manager.
Roles and responsibilities:
Succeeds by understanding the goals and concepts of our business and incorporating these goals daily to achieve sales and profitability targets
You will work closely with our territory managers, credit center, inventory managers, and other departments within the company to creatively achieve both company and customer objectives
Keeps customers informed about industry and economic trends and our ability to assist customers in adapting to changen
Understands and keeps up-to-date on the competitive environment and provides market intelligence to sales management to help shape service center sales strategies, price levels and working capital decisions
Increases revenue from assigned customers by increasing product lines or items sold and converting general line sales to fabrication sales
Involves service center management, regional management, Global Accounts, or other corporate management, and supplier representatives in establishing and maintaining relationships at all levels of customer organization
*Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree
Minimum 1-3 year sales or experience are encouraged to apply
Aggressive, competitive, and self-motivated attitude is essential
Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook) is required, and experience with SAP and CRM tools are also desired and beneficial
Keen attention to detail with a strong aptitude for math
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Effective problem solving / conflict resolution and persuasive negotiation skills
Ability to work well and excel within a team or individually

Salary: $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year
