Software Developer / Architect Job Opening in Wilmington, North carolina - Overview:
This is a high-level Architect position with hands-on Software development for a private 400 employee industry leader on the forefront of technology located in coastal southeast North Carolina minutes from the beach. Technical project design team leadership developing software architecture of enterprise web applications using various technologies and proposing solutions for work processes.
Responsibilities:
Software project planning, design, integration, and integration for delivery of new products and services
Process improvement for user interface (UI) solution development
Contribute to workflow planning meetings, and implement training for cross-functional business units
Design leader mentoring teams while working multiple projects
Describe requirements in workflow charts and diagrams, studies system capabilities; analyze alternative solutions; prepare system specifications
Analyzes system metrics, business processes, and studies systems capabilities for gaps and opportunities
Uses white board diagramming in planning, with quantitative techniques and graphs
Designs software solutions introducing new services supporting SaaS products and a transactional based e-commerce system
Works with technology teams and business units to integrate plans of cross-departmental opportunities

Starting salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
