Software development in C# (60%) / Java (30%) / VB6 (10%) Currently 65% of their time, but that will reduce to 25% once the Git migration starts (see below) Investigating / documenting resolution of software vulnerabilities in vendor applications (20% until we complete that project) Migration from TFS / VSS with a manual build / release to Git / Jenkins / uDeploy (eventually 40% through completion of the project) Supporting production environment (10%) Other tasks as the come up (5%) I am looking for someone with 5 years' experience who can operate with a minimum of supervision.
C# development will be their primary activity although the Git migration will be a critical delivery in the second half of 2017.
do not necessarily need experience with Git / Jenkins / uDeploy but need to be willing to learn the technologies and take responsibility in working with internal groups to complete this task. 40% of the role for the first 5-6 months will be based on migrating from TFS & VSF to git.
Must have solid Git experience 3 applications supported: VB6, Java, and , so familiarity with these is a must.
Will have to stay till 6- 6-30 once a week for end of day processing.
