We?re the only FREE publication in the Puget Sound region that focuses on people, pets, community, and the connections that we share with each other. Our magazine debuted as a humble 4-page periodical; today, we?ve grown into two 24+ page magazines ? but we still retain those same genuine, honest values. As we?ve grown, we haven?t lost our soul ? our roots are here in the Pacific Northwest. We've recently expanded into Portland and we're looking to expand again! We're looking for a highly motivated, driven advertising sales manager to work with our advertising clients to help them achieve their business and marketing goals. This is a commission-based opportunity with increased earning potential as we continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities
Cultivate new advertising accounts for expansion of print/web publication
Network with community members and thoroughly qualify mutually beneficial opportunities
Coordinate relationships from first contact through implementing client campaigns
Develop creative, custom campaigns for clients depending upon their marketing and business objectives
Required Skills & Attributes
3+ years experience in advertising sales or advertising sales management
Comfortable working directly with businesses, non-profits, and the community
Strong prospecting, cold calling, and email skills
Exceptional organizational management and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to customize advertising campaigns for each client
Strong sense of humor; a team player who is equally at ease working independently
Strong work ethic, loyal, honest, and committed to the local community
Proven track record for client satisfaction and retention
