Sales Support Specialist Job Opening in Ellensburg, Washington - Primary Job Functions & Activities :
Service Related
Be the first point of contact with incoming calls
Assist Operations Manager with billing issues, insurance binders & certificates, policy changes, lienholder changes
Help arrange personal insurance reviews
Execute a birthday call program
Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
Contact new claimants to offer service
Execute system to update life insurance policies
Sales Related
Assist sales team with quoting new business and projects related to new business
Cross-sell while assisting current customers
Execute daily outgoing activities to drive new business with personal notes and follow ups
Assist with quoting and binding insurance through the National Flood Insurance Program
Required Skills :

Required Education & Experience
High School Diploma
A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within 75 of hiring offer. A candidate does not officially start until they are licensed. Life & disability license within 150 days after start date. Licensing costs will be reimbursed.
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual Base Salary: $28,000
Bonus & Commission Opportunity up to $10,000 annually
Benefits stipend for medical insurance ($3,000 annually); Employer paid life insurance, dental & vision
A successful candidate will earn a total compensation of $36,000 to $41,000
Paid vacation & Volunteer Time Off
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Occasional Staff Meetings at 8 AM and Weekend events 1 to 2 times per year
