Software Developer Internet of Things Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Seeking a Software Developer (Internet of Things) with demonstrative IV & V experience within the government sector. The candidate is expected to comprehend and execute regression, functional and non functional testing IV&V testing in support of integrated and Agile software development efforts. The Software Developer (IoT) must have an understanding and knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and other tools in a Solaris and Windows environment. The The Software Developer (IoT) must have the proven ability to implement Innovative Solutions.
The Software Developer (IoT) will need to have familiarity with operating systems, databases, middleware common in large enterprise, multi-tiered environments. The Software Developer (IoT) scope of experience should encompass:
Experience in one or more specific IoT / embedded / M2M industry (i.e. business automation, health, asset tracking, smart utilities, etc.)
Experience with embedded or real-time operating systems, and/or driver/kernel development
Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented development and design principles
Tech savvy, detail oriented, and highly driven
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field Fluency in any modern programming language (for example, Java, C#, Ruby, or Python)
· Solid expertise in data structures and algorithms · Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle or DynamoDB
Obsession with quality, operational excellence, and customer experience
Unix or Linux experience
