Hospital CFO Job Opening in Batesville, Mississippi - Curae Health , a fast-growing regional hospital group, headquartered in Knoxville, TN is looking to hire a Hospital CFO for its Batesville, MS facility. This position is open due to growth and an internal promotion.
The Hospital CFO is responsible for managing all record keeping and financial reporting for the Panola Medical Center in Batesville, MS. Working with hospital?s CEO, leadership staff, and Regional VP, Accounting, this position coordinates the business system functions of revenue cycle, reimbursement, and accounts payable with the general ledger and other accounting documentation to support the production of quality, financial information.
Key duties include:
Prepare monthly hospital financial statements; reporting financial management information to hospital CEO and Operation?s Leadership. Develop annual budget for hospital and clinic with the participation of hospital and corporate administrative teams.
Coordinate the general ledger accounting process with the accounts payable, revenue cycle, materials management and payroll systems. Reconcile balance sheet accounts as required.
Manage all local bank account relationships.
Maintain prepaid expense records and monthly recording of expense recognition; maintain the accrual or deferral of revenue records & income statement journal entries to record related revenue.
Maintain long-term debt and capital lease records.
Manage all auditors, external and governmental, with the review of financial reports for hospitals.
This position requires the following experience:
Strong knowledge of financial administration, general accounting, patient accounting, healthcare revenue cycle management, Medicare/Medicaid & non-governmental reimbursement, AP & payroll.
BBA with emphasis in Accounting or Finance; MBA & CPA preferred
