Patient Services Representative Job Opening in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania - Plan, coordinate, oversee and provide patient care for all ages in all areas within the dental standards of practice and the policies of CDHA. Make decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicate appropriate information to other team members. Help maintain equipment, supplies, and the cleanliness and efficiency of the office.
Patient Services Representative Job Duties:
Greet and check in patients in a friendly manner.
Collect co-payments and verify insurance coverage.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Prepare new patient charts neatly and accurately.
Various office duties as assigned by Office Manager.
Responding to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing to appropriate departments, as necessary.
Collect and post payments and record receipts.
Balance nightly deposits and complete credit card processing.
Maintain an open line of communication with other Dental Assistants, EFDAs, Hygienist, Front Desk, Office Supervisors and/or Office Manager, Practice Manager, and Dentists regarding issues important to meeting the needs of patients
Qualifications:
Front Desk of a practice (preferably dental) experience of one year preferred
High School Diploma generally required
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Keyboard skills
Cleared through the State of PA to work on children: determined through Criminal Background Check, Finger Printing, and Child Abuse Clearance
