Regional Director of Case Management Job Opening in Detroit, Michigan - Indeed Hire was in partnership with Olympia.
We are looking for a Regional Director of Case Management to oversee the daily management of Case Management for 6-7 facilities in the local area. The position is responsible for providing expertise and leadership to the Case Management team to insure the effective utilization of resources for patient care delivery and administrative staff. This position will also enhance the continuity of care and cost effectively by integrating the functions of case management, utilization management and discharge planning.

Requirements
Freedom to travel in personal car throughout 6-7 local area facilities
A minimum of 5 years in clinical leadership experience is required
Case Management / Utilization Management and Discharge Planning experience required
Licensed as RN in the State of Michigan
Excellent knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management and reimbursement
Knowledge of payer requirements and discharge planning, post-acute care services, and utilization review.
Experienced working with Advantage plans, patient eligibility, utilization of benefits, managing length of stay and all other areas in relation to utilization review and case management. Must be versed in negotiating carve-outs.
Knowledge of local community resources to coordinate safe discharge.
Able to research information and analyze data to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action, anticipates information needed by others as situations develop.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects or assignments to completion, meeting deadlines and deliverables and resolves issues with minimal direction or guidance, as well as work independently and as a team member.
