Physician Liaison Job Opening in Smyrna, Georgia - The Physician Liaison is responsible for assisting with the activities of the Medical Staff in the maintenance of all patient medical records information, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws, rules/regulations of licensing agencies and within the Joint Commission and CMS standards for the quality of patient care.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor?s Degree in information management/medical records preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years? experience in healthcare, with direct experience in a healthcare psychiatric facility preferred; thorough knowledge of medical records and medical terminology required
Additional Requirements: Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers
