Resident Care Director Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Do you love to provide compassionate care to our Seniors? Are you a mentor and successful leader within the nursing community? Our client is looking for a Resident Care Director to a leading upscale Senior Living company in the Greater Atlanta area.
* Provide strategic leadership for resident care in the community by managing, directing and monitoring the nursing team and medication care managers
* Provide clinical care through the direct application of the nursing process; perform and document resident assessments, complete Individualized Service Plans, provide or delegate hands-on clinical care as indicated by the plan of care and evaluate resident outcomes
*Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for the residents within the community
*Provide clinical training and education as needed to nurses, medication care managers, care managers and others who provide resident care
*Track, trend and report clinical quality data to identify risk. Actively participate as a member of the community Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement committee
*Recruit, hire and train clinical team members and is responsible for performance management, evaluation and engagement.
* 2+ years RN experience (preferred to have at least 1 year with Home Health, Assisted Living, Senior Care or Long Term Care experience)
* with minimum 1 year supervisory experience
* Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical judgement and decision-making skills
Ability to work weekends, evenings & flexible hours as needed for resident care/services
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
