Bookkeeper Job Opening in Knoxville, Tennessee - Position Summary:
Full-time accounting position in a physicians clinic environment to provide general accounting detailing payroll, accounts payable, monthly filings, and reconciliations. Run financial analysis reports on provider revenue to develop goals and budgets.
Must be willing to work in a small business environment with multiple ownership.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with HR to process payroll on a biweekly basis and maintaining proper documentation.
Manage general day to day accounting.
Accounts payable duties such as invoice entering and payment processing.
Preparation of month end financial reports along with posting journal entries and bank reconciliations.
Post patient cash collections and insurance deposits with daily bank deposits.
Coordinating requests and inquiries with vendors.
Financial analysis of provider revenue.
Maintaining and filing of monthly sales tax reports.
Must be willing to multi-task with various projects ongoing at once.
Desired Qualifications:
Bookkeeping experience required: 5-7 years.
Must be proficient in Excel and QuickBooks.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred experience in healthcare revenue cycle/financial operations.
Office Management Preferred
