Accountant - Manufacturing Job Opening in Johnson City, Tennessee - This position requires Manufacturing Experience.
The Accountant of this manufacturer will assist the Controller. In this position the Accountant will have a great opportunity to oversee budgeting, consolidating operational accounting reporting, ad hoc analysis, and ongoing special projects working closely with and is mentored by the Controller.
Manufacturing Accountant Summary:
*Lead the month-end close process
*Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
*Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
*Cash flow analysis and forecasting
*Inventory and variance analysis
*Monitor and ensure accounting policies to ensure compliance
*Assist in resolving AR, AP, Payroll, and cost accounting issues
*Track and communicate ongoing financial standing to all levels of management.
Additionally, strong Microsoft Excel skills to include work with pivot tables, v look-ups and sum-if's is crucial to success in the role. Experience with an ERP is required.
Manufacturing Accountant Requirements:
- BS in Finance/Accounting required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP software
- 4+ years Manufacturing Accounting experience is required
Salary $60,000 - $70,000 a year plus relocation assistance.
