Advertising Sales Manager Job Opening in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Money Mailer is looking for a dynamic professional to lead a team in our Milwaukee Corporate Market! The Milwaukee Market Manager is genuine, straightforward, leads by example, and respectfully gives and receives constructive feedback. This individual must be a change agent that fits well with the current sales team and can work closely with the SVP of Sales and their assigned Marketing Consultants to ensure the achievement of the department budgets with profitable revenue and a strong customer base in a competitive environment.
Management responsibilities will include the following: hiring, training, performance management, conducting sales meetings, Marketing Consultant field rides, mentoring and other duties as assigned. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for prospecting, presenting, and closing advertising sales in key large accounts for Money Mailer and manage this book of accounts.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Execute the Money Mailer Selling System in the field.
· Hire, train, mentor and manage performance of assigned Marketing Consultants
· Develop, manage and grow a personal book of Business for large accounts
· Prospecting, presenting, and closing sales with direct mail advertising prospects.
· Provide leadership in values-based culture, aiding the SVP of Sales with the Company?s growth plan as assigned.
· Complete all required field reports on a weekly basis.
· Attend and participate in all required Sales meeting and training classes.
· Design and submit ad layouts.
· Collect accounts receivables.
· Review customer proofs for accuracy and overall design quality.
· Perform special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience -
· College degree desirable but not necessary with comparable sales experience.
· Advertising sales experience a plus.
· Minimum of 5 years? experience selling to small, independent business owners is preferred.
· 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.

· Extensive prospecting and cold calling skills.
· Quantifiable consultative sales success.
· Demonstrates leadership abilities.
· Quality customer service understanding and demonstrated skills
· Self-starter with a can-do attitude who works well independently.
