Southern Maine Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to be part of our dedicated nursing staff in Sanford . This vital role works closely with our patients to make a positive difference in both the lives of our patients and their families. Under the general direction of the Licensed Professional Nurse, the CNA provides high quality nursing care to all residents within the scope of the approved State of Maine CNA curriculum. The CNA is responsible for completing a variety of tasks including cleaning chores, stocking and disposal of materials supply to ensure assigned areas are kept safe, clean and adequately supplied. Requirements
Current CNA Certification required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Active/or ability to become active on the State of Maine CNA Registry.
Maintain 12 hours of continuing education annually.
