Billing Consultant Job Opening in Sandy, Utah - Simplus is hiring Billing Consultants to take over tasks related to protecting company revenue. They will oversee processing of payments and execute the proper paperwork, maintaining records and ensuring that clients and Simplus are both up to date on billing. Responsibilities and tasks required for this position include the following:
Committing to a full-time position located in our Sandy HQ office, Monday through Friday
Assuming responsibility for processing incoming payments and ensuring credibility
Managing accounts and balances and identifying inconsistencies
Issuing and posting bills, receipts, and invoices
Checking the validity of debit accounts
Keeping accounts receivable database up to date
Informed clients on outstanding debts and deadlines
Providing solutions for client problems
Reporting on billing activity clearly and with data
Required Skills:
Proven experience as billing consultant
Adherence to laws and best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
BS in finance, accounting
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel ( comfortable working with excel formulas, etc.)
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to work in an unstructured environment
Self-driven and able to self-manage without close supervision
Detail oriented
Excellent ability to learn new software systems and processes
Experience using Salesforce (preferred)
