Position Title: Client Services Specialist
Reports To: Director of Client Services (DCS)
Duties: Assist the DCS in HCFS programs which provide mental healthcare, counseling, referrals and emergency financial assistance as directed. Communicate directly with clients and partner agencies via in-person meetings, phone, email and text.
Responsibilities
Assist the DCS with research to provide background information on client requests and potential referral programs.
Assist the DCS with management of clients applying for and receiving financial assistance.
Assist the DCS with client scheduling.
Assist the DCS with outreach and communication with clients.
Assist the DCS with special programs, to include, but not limited to Christmas for Children, school supplies, and Thanksgiving meals.
Participate in the planning and execution of agency fundraisers.
Other duties as assigned by the DCS or CEO.
Prerequisites
College Degree (BS or BA)
Fluent in English and Spanish (Written and Verbal) - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT FLUENT IN SPANISH
Excellent communicator (written, phone, in-person)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Upbeat, positive attitude
Works well with others
Desired
Degree in Psychology or Social Work
1-5 years of experience with social work or counseling
