Community Outreach Enrollment Assistant Job Opening in Dallas, Texas - Job Summary: ThreeWire, Inc. is looking for a research nurse (or someone with similar experience) to recruit patients for a phase III Clostridium difficile vaccine trial through community outreach. The Enrollment Assistant will be educating potential study candidates and their caregivers/family members about this study in addition to other study recruitment related duties in the community by visiting other clinics to speak with doctors/nurse, organizing and leading events to educate potential patients, going to relevant places in the community to provide information.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating an outreach plan and identifying new venues.
Planning, hosting, and attending community events
Speaking with potential patients over the phone and in person
Networking with medical professionals (providers, support staff, admin, etc.)
Canvassing the site and surrounding community with study related materials.
Other administrative duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Very outgoing and have excellent interpersonal skills.
High degree of professionalism and sensitivity to patient problems.
Well organized with attention to detail.
Understanding of the geriatric population and GI diseases
Must be able to drive to different outreach locations. Will be reimbursed for mileage.
Comfortable working both independently and as a team.
Experience in at least one of the following: healthcare, nursing, social work, patient recruitment, health promotion, psychology, event coordination, marketing, sales, or communications.
Strong Preferences:
Previous community outreach experience
Previous experience working in GI
*Sales experience (Pharmaceutical sales)
Clinical research experience
Nursing experience (RN, LPN, CNA)

Will be trained remotely utilizing web and phone conferencing (must have email and computer access for training).
Enrollment Assistant will be managed by ThreeWire but will work as a consultant to the research site with a high level of autonomy. Must be able to jump in and help in a busy environment.
This position is part-time and temporary.
