Job Description
Works collaboratively with the Director of Surgical Services, Managers and coordinators to anticipate the needs for the scheduled cases which could include vendors, instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and tracking statistical data related to service lines. Works with physicians,staff, and administration to improve efficiency and cost initiatives within the Surgical Services Department
Qualifications
? Minimum 3 -5 years related work experience required
? Surgical Technologist experience preferred
? Previous experience in Data Analysis, Performance Improvement
? Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
? Thorough clinical knowledge of surgical procedures and the supplies utilized in surgical procedures
? Basic knowledge of surgical instrumentation and supplies required? Basic knowledge of statistical data analysis and development of preventive and corrective action plans required
? Basic knowledge of supply chain process required
