This position is for a chef that is creative and passionate about developing foods for individuals with various health conditions. We are a small research based food production company that is launching a pilot program. Chef must have experienced working in healthcare. Chef will be responsible for creating and developing recipes and menus based on an established Ezbite criteria. Chef will be responsible for testing product and implementing several taste test panels. If food is your passion, then this position is for you.
Job Duties:
Responsible for creating Ezbites products based on nutritional and culinary requirements outlined by CEO and Program Manager. Develop recipes and menus to be approved by Registered Dietician and Program Manager prior to implementation. Upon approval of Ezbites recipes and menus, initiate meeting with Program Manager and Project Manager to provide a corresponding list of deliverables and delivery dates that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely. Responsible for documenting recipes?to include detailed ingredients and measurements?and providing finalized copy of recipe and menu to Project Manager in accordance with delivery dates noted in the project plan. Responsible for providing recipes and corresponding food items to Recipe Tester for testing and validation. Responsible for adjusting recipe or food item to ensure absolute alignment.
