Zoeller Company is seeking a Software Developer/Controls Engineer that can use their education and experience to design, develop, implement and support automated quality control testing and manufacturing systems. Ideal candidate will have experience writing HMI applications in /C# that interface with Siemens PLCs, as well as writing control logic for PLCs. Candidate will be responsible for developing new systems, as well as re-writing existing VB6 applications in /C#, and migrating away from PC based PLC software to hardware PLCs (Siemens S1200/S1500).
Responsibilities:
Develop HMI applications in /C# that interface with Siemens PLCs.
Specify new PLCs, I/O modules, Sensors, Communication Hardware.
PLC logic development (Siemens Step 7).
Coding T-SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, and Functions.
Create technical documentation as necessary.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to develop hardware/software systems.
Perform other IT/IS duties as required.
Essential Skills:
Windows based HMI application development in or C#.
Ladder Logic & Siemens Step 7.
Solid understanding of T-SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Tables/Views, Functions and Constraints.
Strong understanding of Discrete & Analog I/O types.
Highly motivated to learn and work in a small team environment.
Able to work independently and willing to take responsibility for day to day tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of Zebra Printers and/or Loftware is a plus.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience working full time developing PC based HMI software and PLC based systems.
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
