Oracle PL/SQL Developer
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will be responsible for the development and implementation of business applications for Jefferson National?s internal and external clients. This position will also architect batch processes, design data-driven applications and find efficient client-server solutions. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to communicate project status, issues and resolutions.
Responsibilities:
Work in a team environment on application development projects that support all business units at JNF to include:
Reviewing, analyzing and modifying systems including coding, unit testing and debugging
Ensuring timely completion of projects and high quality, supportable code
Reviewing business specifications
Developing technical specifications
Working with end-users and creating statements of work
Providing project estimates
Performing unit testing
Effectively communicating with developers, QA test team, end-users and technology suppliers
Providing reliable, timely support of project testing incidents
On-going support of production systems involving:
Troubleshooting system outages
Researching and providing reliable, timely support of production incidents
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree Required
A minimum of five years of experience in the field
Create complex PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, triggers and functions in Oracle 11g/12c environment
Strong SQL skills
Experience optimizing, performance tuning, and debugging PL/SQL
Proficiency with TOAD or equivalent database management tools
Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, BI Analytics a plus
Agile training preferred
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn and work quickly
