Controller Job Opening in Lubbock, Texas - This is a strategic leadership role in the Graphic Arts Industry within a dynamic, high growth company. Be responsible for all Accounting, Finance, Tax, HR and Legal functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide prompt and courteous service to customers and colleagues as the go to person for all accounting and human resources related questions
Manage and/or prepare the production of accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports
Analyze, review and post intercompany transactions
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet accounts
Daily analysis of cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business decisions and identify potential improvements. Supervise weekly bank collateral reporting
Supervise Accounts Payable - processed appropriately and with proper documentation including proper use of purchase orders
Supervise Accounts Receivable ? ensure proper review of billing, posting payments and perform collections
Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance
Create and maintain with management the annual budget
Oversee the company?s insurance and risk management process
Understand sales tax administration as well as prepare and file monthly returns
Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax returns including W-2?s and 1095?s
Ensure compliance with applicable employment law including working knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, & Health Insurance
Responsible for administration of 401k Plan including coordinating with outside administrators and ensure timely filing of 5500
Coordinate the annual corporate tax return preparation with external CPA firm
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s in Accounting or Finance
Five to ten years of accounting experience (7+ preferred)
Two or more years of managerial experience included
Manufacturing experience highly preferred
