Job Description:
The Bookkeeper will work closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports, prepare federal and state reports and returns to ensure compliance, and monitor tax filing deadlines. The position assists with processing accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and assuring general ledger integrity. Our ideal candidate will hold a degree in accounting, has a tax preparation background, and is familiar with QuickBooks, or a mid-level accounting software.
Job Duties:
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Hands on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
Prepare financial reports, tax returns, and fulfill other compliance requirements by compiling and summarizing accounting information and trends.
Contributes to a team effort by successfully accomplishing given tasks and assists in additional projects as needed.
Qualifications:
3 years experience preferred
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business administration
Must have a strong attention to detail.
