Operations Manager Job Opening in Washington, District of columbia - Wide Eye Creative is an award-winning digital design agency that empower campaigns, organizations, and causes with elegant design and innovative technology. Our team has grown tremendously in the past year and we are seeking an Operations Manager to set up and manage systems and processes to support that growth. The position is full-time in our DC office. The successful applicant will work closely with our COO to manage finances, human resources, and other business operations. Your work is critical for our ability to work with even more campaigns and organizations in the coming months and years.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Finance
Manage invoicing in coordination with project management team ? send invoices, answer questions, and follow up on accounts payable
Manage client contracts
Manage vendor contracts, process and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner
Manage record keeping of financial, human resources, and operational matters ? maintain accounting filing system and financial records
Process payments and reconcile accounts
Reconcile operating account monthly and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual finance reports
Maintain chart of accounts in Quickbooks
Oversee third-party payroll and compliance company
Oversee operational, legal, and accounting vendors
Human Resources
Manage employee benefit program including health, dental, vision insurance, profit-sharing and 401k plans, and actively look to enhance our benefits package to attract top talent
Identify and implement new opportunities to attract and retain talent
Conduct onboarding and offboarding with employees
Manage company polices
Plan company retreats, gatherings, and staff appreciation
Oversee performance evaluation processes and work with leadership on raises, promotions, and performance improvement plans as needed
Operations
Manage relationship with WeWork (coworking space) and physical set-up for team members
Intake, sort, and file mail as appropriate
Purchase and keep track of equipment for the team
Book and coordinate travel
Perform other duties as needed
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years of experience with finance, human resources, or operations
Strong knowledge of Quickbooks and accounting
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and organization skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Strong time management, follow-up, and record-keeping skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong judgment and discretion
Highly-creative and resourceful
Passion and pride in your work
