The CRRC Site Technical Lead is 'dual hatted? and able to provide leadership for the Security Configuration Services and Enterprise Security Change Control Board Teams:
Provide strategic thought and leadership to the Security Configuration Services team to include optimization and management of tools currently used by the NSOC to include but not limited to: Palo Alto, Splunk ES, SourceFire, McAfee ePO * Provide recommendations to continuously improve the effective use and implementation of tools to NSOC leadership * Provide direction to staff supporting the SCS Team and ensure timely completion of tasks, deliverables and work products as appropriate * Review, assess and provide recommendations on the current Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) used by the SCS team * Ensure cross-coordination and collaboration with the Incident Handling/Monitoring and Deep Dive Analysis teams to improve communications across the NSOC team * Interface with VA POCs/Team Leads to address specific tasks/issues at the Martinsburg site and work with the Project Manager, Technical Lead and other Site Leads to ensure timely resolution
Mandatory Qualifications (Education, Certifications, Experience, Skills):
Bachelors Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline
5 Yrs Experience
8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Ability to obtain 1 to 4 certifications listed below within 120 days upon starting the project:
