Executive Assistant to the Regional Sales Director Job Opening in Brooklyn, New york - Benchmark Merchant Solutions (BMS) Platinum is a payment technology company looking for an Executive Assistant to assist the regional sales director and sales team in administrative duties and customer relations. Responsibilities:
Organize and make arrangements for trade shows
Draft high level business correspondence
Conduct meetings
Maintain Managing Director?s schedule
Respond to emails within Managing Directors email accounts
Set up new employees
Pay bills
Research and implement new business ideas to improve returns
Act as conduit between sales team members and upper management advocating for both and suggesting action plans to satisfy all parties
Meeting with every sales rep to discuss progress and keep accountable
Act as conduit between Platinum and BMS to smooth over or agitate as necessary
Maintain reports on Sales Rep activities and progress (excel)
Interview and evaluate new sales reps
Train new sales reps on industry, company, and programs
Stay up to date in industry
Research and implement new sales team ideas to constantly improve team dynamics and moral
Create and update training materials and documentation
Step in to manage accounts that are mishandled and provide platinum service to merchants whose sales reps have left.
Ensure that merchants who are in arrears or have not been processing for a long period of time are contacted to guide towards reconciliation
Ensure sales reps are maintaining their accounts in accordance to Platinum expectations
Liaise with BMS customer and tech support to implement changes to processing options, resolve outstanding issues, and continue communication
Liaise with Risk and Underwriting to resolve issues, get accounts approved, and maintain working relationships
Format and send out Residual Reports
Order supplies
Maintain files
Submit documents
Scanning and printing
Responding to routine inquires
Opening mail and noting deadlines
Sending follow up sales emails both from own account and Managing Director?s account
Format and create proposals as needed
Book conference rooms for meetings
Other duties as assigned
