Production IT Support Specialist Job Opening in Morrisville, North carolina - Code A Site seeks a Production Support Specialist to support, fix and pro-actively monitor our internal and external production web applications and systems on various platforms.

Overall Responsibilities:
Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all SharePoint and Linux Web Application related problems.
Opens, tracks, and closes tickets and ensures proper ownership.
Promotes end-user satisfaction; tracks activities of technical support specialists to whom tickets were assigned.
Researches, diagnoses, and resolves technical issues.
Provides general IT project support and implementation to the organization when implementing new technologies and solutions.
Documents processes and procedures.
Works with software vendors in general support.
Builds new SharePoint Sites as needed.
Creates and executes PowerShell scripts as needed.
Manages and supports Microsoft Office 365 migrations.
Supports Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
Is available after normal business hours on an infrequent basis. Company phone is provided.
Technology Experience:
Candidate should have experience with several of the following technologies:
Linux
PHP
SQL Server/MySQL
PowerShell (for SharePoint scripts)
CMS (for example, Kentico and WordPress)
SharePoint admin/intranet installs & support
Azure
JIRA
Visual Studio
Git

Basic/Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the position must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a Help Desk or similar environment.
Some experience in software product support and/or software development.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, managers, and executives on technical and business issues.
Experience providing high quality customer service in an environment where reliability and punctuality are highly valued.
Strong organizational and negotiation skills.
Desirable/Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications in Azure or SharePoint
Developer certification in PHP
Certifications related to IT service delivery
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
