Software Developers are responsible for the development and continuous improvement of iSurity?s cutting edge software applications in a lean development environment using the latest tools and technologies: C#, Entity Framework 6, MS SQL Server, ASP MVC 6, Knockout JS, Kendo
As a software developer at iSurity you will:
Develop new software applications to support business objectives and growth.
Code enhancements and bug fixes for the company?s suite of in-house built line of business software applications.
Provide application support and develop bug fixes.
Develop data reporting solutions in collaboration with other departments to meet regulatory requirements.
Assist management in the decision making process and provide insights into trends by creating reports and dashboards using SSRS and the company?s data warehouse. Integrate and manipulate data from various EDI feeds using SSIS.
Participate in the decision making process regarding technology initiatives and strategy.
Provide technical support to internal users.
Assist with software upgrades and other infrastructure changes as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
A strong passion for technology and software development.
1-5 years software development experience as part of a software development team, as a contributor to an open source project or other personal/academic projects.
The ability to work on-site 5 days a week.
The willingness and ability to learn.
The ability to work independently and see a project through from requirement gathering to implementation.
Excellent time-management and self-management skills.
The ability to manage own time and commitments, stress, work style and self-development.
The ability to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences.
