TradeTec Computer Systems Ltd., a small business, a leader in the forest industry software market is looking for a Marketing Assistant to work closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales Persons. The Marketing and Sales team is charged with propelling the company to its next level of sales. The Marketing Assistant would be an integral part of this team and would manage most of the background tasks associated with running a productive marketing and sales team.
TradeTec is well positioned in the forest industry to expand its software market share. The company is also working toward expanding into other industries with a product with wider appeal. TradeTec is currently in a growth trajectory with many new opportunities.
Responsibilities
Assist Sales and Marketing Manager and support the entire sales team with marketing activities
Provide support for different marketing events and exhibitions
Manage events, order marketing materials and book different venues
Manage and attend Trade Shows
Provide marketing research and tracking by gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and trends
Assemble quotations, videos, product capabilities, slide shows and the like to support sales
Solicit and analyze customer feedback
Maintain marketing department?s records
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns
Compose and post online content on the company?s website and social media accounts
Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc.) to augment the company?s presence in the market
Make travel bookings

Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
1 to 3 years of related experience if no Bachelor?s Degree
Experience and knowledge of software marketing preferred
Experience and knowledge of forest industry operations preferred.
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Strong copywriting and communication skills
Proven experience as a marketing assistant
Good understanding of marketing principles
Good knowledge of market research techniques
Data Entry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently within the scope of responsibilities.
Compensation:
Base Salary between $34K - $40K pa depending on qualifications and experience
