Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, EVS is innovating enterprise software by bringing modern design and hardware to industrial environments. Our flagship product, mobe3, is a modern warehouse management system hosted in an Azure cloud architecture.
Job Description
This is a mid to senior-level position responsible for building bots that connect public and private web APIs with our mobe3 Azure Cloud WMS solution. Within our architecture, bots are responsible for integrations, optimizations and recommendations based upon the customer?s data.
The right candidate must demonstrate the ability to understand complex data sets, take pride in being thorough and building mission critical software. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. Experience in enterprise software environments is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
* Work with our consulting teams and customers to define integration and optimization bots.
* Contribute to the architecture of our current bot framework.
* Code in NodeJS and Microsoft SQL.
* Deploy, monitor and help support the bots.
* Document and communicate clearly how to manage and support the bots within our our consulting and support teams.
* Analyze and articulate security vulnerabilities, as well as contribute to our overall security awareness and vigilance.
Requirements
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, (sometimes high pressure) dynamic environment
* Computer Science bachelor?s degree preferred, but not required
* 3+ years? experience with software development
* Effective and efficient problem solving skills
* Must intimately know Microsoft SQL and JavaScript
* Experienced with working with complex relational databases
* Ability to work across the board internally, with customers and third party business analysts
* Although this is not seen as a traveling consulting role, some travel to customer site may be expected depending upon the circumstance.
A note on balance: We aim for a standard work week, and we do a good job of keeping this much of the time. But we also hire people who are willing to do whatever it takes to come through for our customers. Sometimes this is travel, sometimes this is working extended hours for a specific deliverable. We want people who take pride in the craft, and ownership in their area of responsibility.
