IS Generalist Job Opening in Oshkosh, Wisconsin - Information Systems Generalist
ECM Holding Group, LLC is a dynamic organization whose member companies focus on reducing energy and other operational costs for their customers. ECM is looking for an IS Generalist to be responsible for the day-to-day IS activities of its companies and be the front-line customer interface for the Green IT Solutions company software installation projects. The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys new challenges and solving problems. They must be able to communicate well and interact well with other employees and customers. The IS Generalist will report to the Chief Technologist.
Primary responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and correcting basic software and hardware issues
Ordering and configuring end-user IT devices and supplies
Tracking IT supplies and equipment
Creation and maintenance of user accounts
Training new and existing staff in the use of systems
Assisting Green IT Solutions? customers with software installation on its projects
Additional responsibilities may include:
Research into new IS solutions for the organization
Basic macro writing in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Basic form and/or report editing in Crystal Reports
Basic on-premise IT auditing at Green IT Solutions customer sites
Basic quote development for Green IT Solutions customers
Skills and knowledge required are:
Strong customer service attitude
Adaptability to new responsibilities
Knowledge of computing and computer networking, hardware, software and peripherals
Basic understanding of TCPIP networking (wired and wireless)
Basic understanding of cloud-based SaaS services
Basic Active Directory/Group Policy knowledge
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred skills and knowledge are:
Understanding of Epicor P21 ERP or similar system
Understanding of VPN and WAN technologies
Familiarity with supporting remote end-users
Familiarity with ShareFile
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Administration
Basic CyberSecurity skills
Basic Data Analysis
