Position Overview:
Indian Ridge Provisions growth is directly related to acquiring new customers. Our outside sales team is responsible for this. Under the direction of the VP of Sales, our sales representatives are expected to open and then maintain their own profitable client base.
Primary Job Requirements:
To accomplish this, face to face cold calling is required as well as telephone and electronic communication.
Since a majority of our business is still handled on a ?face to face? basis, a large amount of vehicle travel time is required of sales representatives.
Once a new account is opened, it is the representative?s duty to ensure customer satisfaction. Duties include taking orders, showing new products, and offering beneficial pricing options for customer.
It is also sales representative?s duty to aid in any debt collection owed by customer to Indian Ridge Provisions.
Bi-weekly sales meetings are held and additional meetings with sales manager may be required throughout week.
Our sales representatives are expected to dress and act in a professional manner
Sales Representatives do not work on an hourly basis, and some night and weekend hours may be required for the servicing of customers.
Attendance at trade shows as well as classes or seminars is sometimes required.
Lifting light boxes as well as getting in and out of a vehicle on a repeated basis is necessary.

A competitive attitude and the ability to balance and organize workload
Travel is a must for this position as you will be driving to meet clients
Determination and a strong work ethic are necessary assests for and IRP Sales Representative
