Senior Accountant - External Reporting Job Opening in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania - The Senior Accountant - External Reporting plays an integral role in helping the Company meet its accounting and financial reporting objectives, which include SEC accounting and reporting compliance as well as the preparation of stand-alone financial statements to comply with financial institution, governmental, joint venture partners and operational reporting. The Reporting and Consolidation Specialist must possess a working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, COSO concepts on Internal Control over Financial Reporting, and SEC document preparation and filing procedures.
The ideal candidate is a CPA with approximately 3 - 5 years of experience either auditing SEC registrant financial statements or a combination of auditing and preparation of a registrant?s SEC financial statements. Multi-entity and healthcare industry, or similar experience, is preferred. CPA eligible candidates that have successfully passed portions of the CPA exam are encouraged to apply.
