Solutions Architect Job Opening in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania - Essintial Enterprise Solutions is a rapidly growing IT Services company headquartered in Mechanicsburg, PA. We are currently seeking Full Time Solution Architect.
The Solutions Team is the focal point for all new business opportunities at Essintial. The team leverages experience in all functional areas of the company (Operations, Sales, and Finance) to develop and communicate solutions to customers that are competitive, profitable, and within our capabilities as a company.
This Solutions Architect position will be responsible for developing pricing for new business opportunities from existing and prospective customers, evaluating existing business for profitability, and ensuring each opportunity fits within Essintial?s core competencies. The position involves working with Sales and directly with the customer to craft a solution; along with working directly with Finance and Operations to ensure the inputs are complete and accurate to ensure supportability and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Pricing
Directly responsible for developing cost models and pricing strategy
Using established pricing procedures, prepare price quotes for all assigned bids.
Ensure timely delivery of all quotes and bids to sales
Assist Sales as necessary in customer meetings to understand the requirements and present solutions.
Assist in developing new service offerings for customers
Ensure all pricing is properly reviewed as controlled by delegation of authority documents
Skills and Abilities Required:
Pricing service and support plans for computer systems; focus on the retail environment; specific experience including Point of Sale (POS), Digital Signage, Kiosks, and other retail related technology
Technical experience or knowledge in the following areas is desired: Servers (x86, Unix, Sun), Storage, PC/Laptop, Retail POS, Printers
Mastery of Microsoft Excel and fundamental understanding of data mining techniques is a must (including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups)
Proof of these skills will be required to be considered for this position
Additional experience in Logistics and International services as well as formal training in the field service pricing desirable
