Tax Associate Job Opening in Montgomery, Alabama - * The job:
The Tax Associate will Report to the Associate Manager, and perform the necessary tax accounting, planning, compliance and policy functions covering federal, state & local, and international taxes.
You will:
Assist with preparation of workpapers for tax returns and quarterly tax provision calculations.
Assist with tax audits and state notices.
Prepare check request for tax filings.
Reconcile G/L accounts.
Maintain EFT registrations.
Assist with mapping for tax returns.
Run PeopleSoft reports and prepare reconciliations.
Research tax technical matters on the federal and international level and draft memorandum to support and document conclusions.
Assist the Associate Manager with special projects.
