Kofax (KTA) Developer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - The Kofax Engineer is a key role within the growing Information Governance Solutions (IGS) Division, part of Canon Business Process Services? (CBPS) Professional Solutions Division. The IGS Division is a national team working in a key growth area for CBPS across a large number of clients in a variety of industries. Its focus is to advance CBPS?s outsourcing offerings and enhance the quality of client engagements through creative records, imaging and electronic solutions. This position will be unique in that the individual will be required to assist in the implementation of new or expanding business opportunities focused on the Kofax Total Agility platform.
Bachelor's Degree required
Imaging/Records Professional Certification or eligibility, Project Management credentials preferred
5 + years Kofax Experience
2 + years Kofax Total Agility Experience
5+ years of progressively responsible software development experience
Ability to analyze existing business processes and determine pain points via workflow mapping (proof required)
Designing, developing and implementing document capture, storage and retrieval, and workflow-based document imaging applications
Services or consulting organization experience
Results oriented
Can make good decisions based on combination of analysis, experience, and professional judgment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Team oriented, fits well into virtual and dynamic teams
Ability to execute and deliver the highest quality and production
A self-starter and is proactive when working remotely to achieve project milestones and deadlines; can initiate and lead decision gate meetings
Capable to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and complete deliverables in an accurate and timely manner
Technical Knowledge/Skills
Scanner equipment such as Fujitsu, Canon, HP, IBML devices
Accounts Payable experience advantageous:
Full cycle process ? Workflow Approval, Credit and Check Requests
Payment related transactions (P2P)
Other vertical / horizontal business processes knowledge is advantageous
Installation and configuration of Kofax Total Agility
High proficiency with Kofax Total Agility components:
o Process Designer
o Forms Designer
Proficient in software development using and JavaScript is required
Proficient with Regular Expressions
Experience with SQL Server is highly preferred
Solid understanding of business systems including development techniques for interfacing to ERP, accounting, accounts payable systems, and Business Process Management workflows
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Visio
Up to 25% travel
