Property Accountant job Job Opening in Kansas City, Missouri - Accounting Principals is currently seeking a Property Accountant for a large real commercial estate firm. This is a contract position to help them get caught up. They are located near the plaza and this will be for two months, there is some potential for this to go longer. This job requires at least three years of Accountant experience in a real estate company. You?ll spend your days working with various locations on budget creation, analyzing escrow accounts, determine asset management fees, close out properties, distributing property financials, journal entries, and more. This position will pay up to $21/hour.
The Property Accountant Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Review budgets and assist with creation of new budgets
Analyze escrow accounts
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements.
Analyze finances to prepare general ledger entries
Determine asset management fees
May support the budget preparation in conjunction with the finance team
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
Real estate/property accounting experience
Comfortable preparing and analyzing financial reports
At least three years of experience at a Staff or Senior Accountant level
Advanced Excel skills, Advanced Access skills a plus
