Experienced Accountant Job Opening in Royal Oak, Michigan - Global Enterprises Company has an opening for an Experienced Accountant at our Corporate Offices in Huntington Woods Michigan. Global Enterprises is a tier 2 automotive supplier of plastic extrusions with operations in Michigan, Texas, Romania, and Mexico.
Job Duties include:
Primarily responsible for Accounts Payables for a limited period time - Process daily vendor invoices, payments of the vendors and perform additional duties as assigned
Journal entries booking as requested by managers
Provide reports for costs accounting analysis
Supporting balance sheet accounts back up as requested by the managers
Prepare monthly entries for COGS, inventory, cycle counts, scrap
Analyze cause of cycle counts and work with plant to remedy root cause
Assist Corporate Controller and CFO
Contributes to the success of the team by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting
3 ? 5 years of standard cost accounting experience in a manufacturing operation
Must have excellent analytical skills, and a sound understanding of accounting principles
Ability to collaborate with multi department teams
Knowledge of AIM Manufacturing Systems is a plus
Knowledge of Romanian Accounting legislation will be big advantage
International Accounting experience is a plus.
