Holt Crane and equipment is one of the largest Link Belt Crane dealerships in the U.S. Holt Crane is owned by Holt CAT which is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the US. Holt Crane has a Sales Representative (Link Belt Cranes) position available at in the Houston, Texas marketplace. Travel is local within 150 miles radius of Houston, Texas. Overnight travel is very minimal.
Job Description
This position is responsible for representing HOLT Crane & Equipment in the Houston, Texas marketplace with the ultimate goal of sales, lease purchasing and rentals of Link-Belt Cranes. As part of a sales team, the crane sales representative shares the responsibility with other members of the team to act in a manner that ensures the continued stability and growth of all members of the team, rather than only his/her own territory, through a spirit of collaboration as well as a commitment to the same set of business values and a commonly shared mission.
Qualifications
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:
GED or High School diploma. College graduate highly desired.
Minimum 5 year sales experience required . Previous heavy equipment or crane sales experience highly desired.
Must have clean and valid drivers' license.
Must have excellent communication skills. Must work effectively with customers and staff
Must work effectively on an independent basis under a sales commission structure
Must be proficient with computers. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must be well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person with good people skills.
Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Must be highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
Must self-motivated with a high commitment completing tasks in timely manner.
