Cost Accounting Manager Job Opening in Akron, Ohio - Do you have advance cost accounting skills and desire to work for a global, diverse and growing organization? Due to a promotion, our client is searching for a talented Cost Accounting Manager.
As the Cost Accounting Manager; reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for performing the day to day costing, tracking actual cost, cash flow and tracking key indicators. As they manufacture capital equipment, you will work closely with Project Manager and other executives. This is a highly visible role which will enable you to showcase your skills.
Primary responsibilities:
Track all project costs
Develop project forecasts and budgets
Track project time lines
Monthly reports along with attending executive meetings
Maintain internal controls
Assist with G/L and closings
Your background should include:
BA/BS Degree in accounting or finance
Strong manufacturing experience, plant knowledge
Budgeting and forecasting
Excellent ERP skills
Experience with Microsoft office products
Compensation for the role is commensurate with experience with a target of $75K plus bonus.
