Quality Auditor Job Opening in Massillon, Ohio - Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Develop and draft quality assurance policies and procedures
Evaluate adequacy of company quality assurance standards and systems
Develop sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
Plan, conduct and monitor testing, inspection and audits of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
Investigate customer concerns and non-conformance issues
Collect, compile and analyze quality data for improvement in the quality system
Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
Identify training needs and develop associate training to meet quality standards
Lead the planning and implementation of projects
Define and facilitate the project scope, goals and deliverables
Develop project plans
Plan and schedule project timelines
Monitor and report on project progress and report progress, problems and solutions
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Certifications an advantage including ASQ, Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate and Interpersonal Communication Skills
Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
Experience with implementation of corrective action programs
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel
Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
Experience in people management
Experience in strategic planning

Ability to interpret engineered drawings.
Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years Quality Control experience in a manufacturing setting.
