Job Responsibilities:
ACCOUNTING
Monthly and Year-end close for multiple business entities
Balance sheet reconciliation, development of adjusting JE's and preparation of financials
Reconciliation and management of inter-company accounts and bank statements
Assist with partner distributions
Maintains the fixed asset portfolio, prepares depreciation and amortization schedules
PAYROLL
Perform Payroll responsibilities to include bi-weekly processing, posting to general ledger, reconciling monthly, quarterly and year-end payroll activities.
FINANCE AND REPORTING
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
Assist in the development of annual operating budgets
Conduct monthly variance analysis
TAX
Support external tax preparer.
Ensure timely year-end close and delivery of closed books to preparer.
QUALIFICATIONS
Excel and QuickBooks skills, Access a plus
Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Paychex and EDI processing experience a plus
Must be proactive and organized
Aptitude to understand processes and to drive improvement and efficiencies
