Home Health Reimbursement Specialist Job Opening in Lexington, South carolina - Medical Services of America, a National Healthcare company is looking to add a full-time Home Health Reimbursement Specialist to our team at our corporate office in Lexington, SC .
This position will be responsible for:
Bills claims for all pay sources and locations as assigned.
Track reasons for unpaid claims and re-bill claims as necessary.
File electronic and/or written appeal requests in a timely manner.
Update ADR spreadsheet and notify locations of new ADR?s.
Insurance verification backup.
Work with locations to resolve any issues that may affect billing.
Identify legitimate claims for write offs and submit to Director for approval.
Maintain good relationships with locations, billing center coworkers and payer sources.
Maintain knowledge base of related federal, state and private insurance regulations.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
At least 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
